Further to the announcement by African Petroleum Corporation Limited (“African Petroleum” or the “Company”) on 22 December 2015, the Company’s shares were delisted from the National Stock Exchange of Australia (“NSX”) before open of trading on 4 January 2016. The Company maintains a listing on the Oslo Axess exchange in Norway with the shares traded via the Norwegian Central Securities Depository (the "VPS System").
As advised in the announcement on 22 December 2015, shareholders who did not transfer their shares to the VPS System were issued a paper share certificate.
Shareholders that have been issued a paper share certificate should keep it in a secure place, as it will be needed post NSX de-listing to transfer shares off-market in Australia or to transfer them to the VPS System for trading on the Oslo Axess at a future date.
Institutional shareholders wishing to transfer their paper share certificates to listed securities on the VPS System must follow the guidance notes that are available for download here.
Retail shareholders wishing to transfer their paper share certificates to listed securities on the VPS System should contact their broker and instruct them to follow the same guidance notes above.
